Words don't come easily to him ...

F.R. David, whose real name is Robert Fitoussi, is a French artist whose musical career began in the late 1960s.

He began by accompanying his sister as a bass player and then became the singer of the group "Boots".

At the beginning of the 70s, he opened a break by playing guitarists for Vangelis with which he produced the album "Earth".

Then made a jump in the USA with the hard group "Variations" with whom he recorded an album.

He multiplies collaborations notably with artists such as Aerosmith, Toto, Steely Dan, among others.

But it was in 1981 that he finally achieved recognition with his global hit “Words” which remained at the top of the European Charts for 17 weeks and sold more than 8,000,000 million copies !

He later released other well-made Singles such as "I need you", "Pick up the phone", "Sahara night" and "Girl you’re my song".

But he will never be able to repeat the phenomenal feat of "Words" and will gradually fall back into complete anonymity.
