Welcome to the real world...

Gun is a Scottish band formed in 1987 in Glasgow and originally consisting of Giuliano Gizzi, Cami Morlotti, Mark Rankin, Aln Thornton, David Aitken and Gary Moore.

Group which immediately achieved its first success with the release of the Single “Better days” in 1989, a Single taken from their first album “Taking on the world” which was released the same year.

Album with certain success and which produced other high-caliber Singles with “Inside out” also in 1989 as well as “Taking on the world” and “Shame on you” the following year in 1990.

Success confirmed but above all amplified three years later with the release in 1992 of the album “Gallus”, an album which mainly produced the flagship Single “Steal your fire”.

Album where we will find, as with the previous album, a luxury backing singer named…Sharleen Spiteri, cousin of Rankin and who is none other than the oh-so-iconic singer of the group Texas…

But the consecration, the real one, arrived in 1994 with the following album “Swagger”, an album which will remain as the highest ranked album of all and which will above all bring them global recognition with the enormous Single “Word up! ".

A performance that they will never be able to repeat despite the release of other albums and other singles subsequently.

1989...an ideal start to his career with a first ranked title on both sides of the Atlantic. It now remains to be confirmed that this success was not just a huge stroke of luck...

1989...even if the level of success achieved by this title has nothing to do with its predecessor, there is success nonetheless which confirms that this group has talent, and real...

1989...three titles just for their first year of existence and already three titles classified. This is what we call a flying start...

1990...and the transition to the following decade will in no way slow down the excellent dynamic on which they have been riding since their beginnings...

1990...each title that has been released since their debut is classified, which still underlines a feat on their part that is, to say the least, certain...

1992...surprisingly nothing will happen during the year 1991. Here they are again in this year 1992 in a form that we would describe as certain, which can only reassure about the future of events...

1992...they continue to unroll quietly and above all surely. Certainly the success is limited exclusively to England but it is at least that and it is not nothing...

1992...a great and big year 1992 with 3 new successes in the end to add to a prize list which grows year after year and certainly so...

1994...then comes THIS luxury cover of the Cameo title dating from 1986. A revisited version which will allow the group to achieve the biggest success of his entire discography and to enter One Shot in the musical Pantheon of the end of the 20th century century. HU-GE !

1994...the only problem is that they will be unable to ride the enormous wave raised by the previous title with a return to the bottom of the cows which is brutal to say the least...

1995...they will never be able to repeat the feat achieved on 'Word up!' and this despite an obvious desire to do well. Hard law of the trade...

1995...afterwards that won't stop them from continuing the adventure, far from it. Because we know it well, in music, nothing is ever lost as long as you believe in it...

1995...they will still have to face the facts : the best years are now behind them. However, nothing stops them from achieving great things again...

1997...and they will prove it not the following year but the year after that. A year 1997 which will allow them to win a new classified title which obviously feels good...

1997...a title which will not be officially released but which it would have been a shame to hide. So here it is brought back to light as it should be...

1997...the second success of the year, one more ! They will have to take advantage of it because it will be the last at this level unfortunately...

2012...then nothing for 15 years ! A disappearance which had all the makings of the end of an adventure but it was very difficult to know them in the end because here they are again...

2012...a return which inevitably delights the core fans to the highest degree. Especially since the quality is also back which doesn't spoil anything, quite the contrary...

2012...a return which will unfortunately go unnoticed to say the least, despite titles of more than certain quality like this one. It must be said that the 15 years of absence have not helped, that much is clear...

2012...at least they will have shown that they still exist and that's the main thing. To return to the race, we will probably have to wait for the next opus...

2015...and indeed this time they will indeed succeed in getting back into the race. Certainly at the back of the pack but they will still manage to classify this new opus...

2015...shows that perseverance always pays off. If they had stuck to the - relative - failure of the previous opus, they would surely never have returned and would therefore have missed the boat as they say...

2015...the group will have reinvented himself in a very good way. A desire to believe in it until the end which commands respect in any case...

2016...especially since the level of productivity is impressive to say the least with 2 opuses already on the clock for this 2010 decade and a 3rd in preparation...

2017...here it is, this 3rd opus of the decade. An opus which will remain as the best ranked of the 3 and which will allow them to almost come back to the front of the race...

2017...a return to grace which can only delight them to the highest degree and above all reward this unwavering desire to move forward whatever the difficulties and obstacles...

2017...a decade 2010 which will undoubtedly remain as that of renewal. And we imagine that with the return of success the group certainly does not intend to stop there...

2019...a final title which therefore closes a most favorable decade for the group. Let's hope it lasts...

2022...they are attacking their 5th decade of career here with the firm intention of not giving up. A desire to believe in it until the end which will pay off once again...

2022...this new opus will also be classified even if its level of success will be less than its predecessor. The main thing is that they stay in the race and for the moment that is indeed the case...
