Little interesting info about The Scientists other than the fact that it's an Australian band formed in Perth in 1978 and originally composed of Kim Salmon, Roddy Radalj, Boris Sujdovic and John Rowlings.
A group that will remain mainly in the musical history of the 80s for the high-caliber single "You only live twice" released in 1985.
As such alone, we had to devote this article to them.
To discover or rediscover.

Clips :
1980 ... very punchy beginnings. The group shows a certain motivation but it is clear that they will have to work a little more ...
1982 ... the potential is real but the group cannot find the style, and especially the sound, which could allow them to break through at the highest level. We will therefore have to wait a little longer ...
1983 ... a style that is still too messy. They make noise, of course, but that's not how they will be able to do the difference ...
1983 ... at the limit of the experimental. A bias to say the least surprising and above all totally counterproductive. Attention danger...
1985 ... the style has evolved somewhat but the sound remains as obscure as ever. A half-evolution which is not enough to change the situation unfortunately ...
1985 ... a group which does not stick to any of the standards of the moment and which does not realize that by behaving like this, marginalization will be inevitable and above all irremediable ...
1985 ... and this is not the title that will change anything. An adventure to say the least surprising, totally offbeat and which above all deprived the group of recognition worthy of the name. Hard law of the trade ...
1987 ... from beginning to end, the group will have remained on a hard line at the musical level. A refusal of evolution that they will pay cash ...
