Real Life is an Australian group, born on the side of Melbourne in the early 80s. It was originally composed of David Sterry on vocals, Richard Zatorski on keyboards, Alan Johnson on bass and Danny Simcic on drums. We will retain from this group essentially 2 titles, "Cath me I'm falling" in 1984 but it is above all the now cult "Send me an angel", single released a year ago, which will have made them enter definitively in the legend of the essential bands of the 80s. Clips :
1983 ... an incredible start with this HUGE hit which elevates them One Shot to the rank of planetary stars. MAS-TER-FUL !
1983 ... a continuation of certain quality but how to compete with the previous jewel ...?
1983 ... change of vintage and new mega hit. A title that spins at 200 km/h. It rocks, to say the least !
1984 ... the years go by but they don't necessarily look alike. After a shattering career start in the year 1983, the group somewhat marked the pace in this year 1984. With only one title on the clock and overall modest success ...
1985 ... once again the proof of an evident talent which places them undoubtedly in the Top10 of the best Australian groups
1985 ... the level of success varies considerably from one title to another. This title there will squarely pass under the radars and will not even be classified ...
1985 ... this time, it's sweetness and finesse on the menu. Even in this register there, they assure ! Unfortunately, on this one too, the success is with absent subscribers ...
1986 ... an obvious sound evolution. The style has also changed. For good or for bad ? It's the future that will say it ...
1986 ... we wondered if the change in style had brought something more. Well, with this title, we can say yes !
1989 ... big air hole of 3 years followed by a rather winning return with this title Dance which will work mainly in the USA. But it's still better than nothing !
1990 ... change of decade and new sound evolution in line with the era. Still there the little guys !
1990 ... Dance, Dance, Dance. Their latest notorious hit. They will not have passed the milestone of 10 years of career but will have left a significant mark in the musical history of the 80s
1996 ... come on, this time, it's really the end. Bravo gentlemen for all of your work and see you soon. Cut !
1997... well no, it's not quite over. It's well and truly over on the Charts side but the group still has things to offer at first sight...
2004...and here they are again 7 years later. A desire to believe in it to the end which undoubtedly commands respect...
2004...they are more doing some figuration than anything else now but they still hope for a possible return to the front of the stage. And why not tell me...
2020...new long-term disappearance but they are coming back again at the beginning of the 2020 decade. Who would have thought possible...
2020...it's the basic fans anyway who are delighted to see them come back again and again. And we with them necessarily...
Top Bonus : it's always nice to see them again even if the weight of the years has done its work and we can't really find those we knew decades ago...
