Little interesting information regarding Lacksley Castell apart from the fact that he was a Jamaican singer who will remain mainly in the musical history of the end of the 20th century for the high caliber Single “African queen” which was released in 1980.
Artist who died prematurely in November 1983 at the age of 24 following an illness.
For this reason alone we had to dedicate this article to him.

Tracks :
1978...a nice first title even it is clear that there is still a little work left for young Lacksley if he wants to quickly move from the shadows to the light...
1978...a passage which will not take place during this 70s decade in any case. Afterwards you have to give time to time as they say...
1979...the end of the 70s will have at least allowed him to practice his scales as they say and to learn the trade slowly but surely...
1979...we still suspect that he will succeed in producing at one point or another THE title that goes well. We're getting closer, we're getting closer...
1979...he does everything it takes to get there anyway. He just needs to raise his level of play a little and that will be possible...
1980...and it is THIS title which will allow him to finally achieve a semblance of recognition. So you just had to believe in it a little...
1980...it is certain that he will not remain as the most gifted in his musical field but everything he has produced is far from unworthy, that is clear...
1981...unfortunately fate didn't really give him time to show what he was really capable of...
1982...a career that will quickly end in a brutal way to say the least, with a most tragic outcome unfortunately...
1982...he will still leave behind him an interesting discography from all points of view and which it would have been a shame to ignore...
1983...we will therefore enjoy until the end the little he had time to produce. Afterwards, it is better to have a light discography but of quality rather than a plethoric discography without any relief...
1983...a career which will not go beyond the year 1983 and which nevertheless augurs a sequel which could have seen him produce high caliber titles...
1983...but when destiny gets involved it is literally impossible to fight as they say. This is unfortunately what will be the case for young Lacksley...
