Brother Beyond is an English group formed in 1985 and composed of Nathan Moore, David Ben White, Carl Fysh and Steve Alexander.
Their first single "I should have lied" was released in 1986 but went completely unnoticed. The next three, them, will experience a slightly more favorable fate but without appearing in the best places in the Charts.
It is the arrival of the magic trio Stock-Aitken-Waterman which will radically change the situation from the year 1988. The 'makers of tubes' take over the group in hand and the result is immediate: the single "The harder I try ”, which is the first single produced by the new team, made a real worldwide hit and propelled the group to the top of the Charts. Giving the group a level of notoriety hitherto unattainable.
The same year, another single "He ain’t no competition" was also a spectacular success. Singles all taken from the album "Get even" which was also released in 1988.
Just like “Be my twin” and “Can you keep a secret” which came out in 1989 and which in turn would experience their moment of glory. The year 89 saw the release of the new album “Trust”, an album which mainly produced the hit “Drive on”. A major hit that will unfortunately be the last because the miracle will not last longer. The titles that will come out later will relegate the group to the ranking level it experienced in its prime years.

Clips :
1986 ... a first title of certain quality but which will go completely unnoticed. Goodwill is not always enough, it is clear that there is still a little work to reach the big leagues ...
1987 ... there is better, it is clear. A Dance sound that fits perfectly with the times and allows the group to obtain his first major classified title. Very clear progress !
1988 ... the year that will change everything. Certainly, it is not this title that will take them to the top of the Charts but we are getting closer to it slowly but surely. Come on guys, we believe it !
1988 ... then the magic trio Stock-Aitken-Waterman arrives and the miracle occurs, as very often with them. The group simply signs here the biggest success of its career and one of the biggest hits of the decade. MAS-TER-FUL !
1988 ... the rest will be almost the same. A decidedly exceptional year 1988 which made the group definitively return to the musical legend of the 80s
1989 ... we are restarting this new year on almost the same basis. But we still feel that the level of inspiration is lower. Attention boys !
1989 ... and sadly, what was predictable happens. Despite a title of certain quality, the group begins to tire and plunges into the depths of the Charts. Another 'shooting star' success Story. Pity...
1989 ... they try everything for the whole with this Intimist title, a title very well done but which will not change the situation at all. Everything is going very quickly at the end of the decade, too fast ...
1990 ... they will attempt the transition to the 90s but without success. A year 1990 which will be their last year of existence ...
1990 ... the last hit and almost their last single. Anyway, a nice adventure that will always have allowed them to leave several pieces of very large calibers in their wake. And which will especially allow Nathan Moore, the singer, to bounce back a few years later, and in what way. In another group called...Worlds Apart, a group that will remain as one of the most famous Boys Bands !
