The One Shot Festival - 37

An anthology of cult titles or very high quality but whose group has produced only a "One shot" or so few titles that it would have been ridiculous to devote an entire article to it.

Part 37 :

  • Maxine Singleton – You can’t run from love 1983

  • Harold Faltermeyer – Axel F. 1984

  • Departement S – Is Vic there ? 1981

  • Atlantis – Keep on movin’ and groovin’ 1982

  • The Strikers – Body music 1981

  • Eleven – Here I go again 1987

Tracks :

1983...this English singer will only produce a few titles and will pass through the musical landscape of the 80s like a shooting star...

1984...one of the most famous titles of the decade produced by the German composer Harold Faltermeyer and which we will find in the soundtrack of one of the reference films of the decade also, namely 'Beverly Hills Cop'...

1981...an English group that had the potential to be among the greats and who missed out on their history because of fruitless quarrels with their Label...

1982...one of the major titles of the 80s and which we owe to Royal Bayyan, an American artist who we will find in the formation of another group and not the least, namely 'Kool & The Gang'...

1981...American group that will know its hour of glory mainly with this title but what a title. Undoubtedly one of the most striking titles of the decade...

1987...one might have thought that this group was Anglo-Saxon but it is German at first sight. A short-lived group that did not find its place in this blessed decade...
