The happy children of Count Alzano Lombardo...

P. Lion, whose real name is Pietro Pelandi, is an Italian singer whose origin of the stage name would be a mix between the initials of his different first names (Pietro Paolo) and Lion, the lion actually part of the coat of arms of his family (his father is Count Alzano Lombardo).

Very little info about the singer except that he will be released altogether for two albums. "Springtime" in 1984 and "A step in the right way" in 1995.

With for flagship Singles the titles "Happy children" and "Dream" in 1984, 2 enormous titles which remain to this day 2 of the biggest dance hits of the decade and of this end of the XXth century period.

1984 ... the title of a lifetime, the one that makes One Shot go into legend. The singer signs here quite simply one of the biggest dance hits of all time, just that. A startling to say the least. MO-NU-MEN-TAL !

1984 ... he recidivates directly in the wake. Two amazing titles in a single year, that's the mega jackpot ! The legend is now on ...

1984 ... as paradoxical as it may seem, everything that will come out later will have little to do with the first 2 titles. Unable to repeat the exploit ...

1985 ... however, in terms of Italo Disco, it is rather high level. But the singer does not manage to find the level of brilliant inspiration which made of the first 2 titles 2 titles of exception ...

1986 ... he hangs on and perseveres. Unfortunately, when it doesn't, it doesn't. Everything that comes out meets only a very average success ...

1987 ... and by force, he gets lost. Especially with this title where we really wonder in which register the artist wants to go. Dance, Intimist, a mix of both ...
