The girls are back in town...

Risqué is a Dutch band originally composed of Yvonne Van Splunteren, Donna Baron, Ingrid De Goede, Irene Van Der Hoeven, a group that was formed after the separation from 'Doris D And The Pins' following a financial dispute.

A group that will remain mainly in the musical history of the 80s for the big-time Single "The girls are back in town" which will be released in 1982.

For this reason alone, we had to dedicate this article to them.

To discover or rediscover...

Tracks :

1982...the Doris D And The Pins adventure having ended in a misunderstanding, here is part of the troupe reconstituted under a new name...

1982...and the least we can say is that the group in its new version has real assets, it must be said...

1982...whether in Dance mode or in a softer mode, the girls prove more than certainly that they can exist on their own...

1983...well, this really smells like a copy-paste of other girl groups of the time, but it doesn't matter as long as there is a certain interest in the title itself...

1984...the stage play is a little light but the girls do what they can in any case to make it a minimum professional...

1984...it is certain that the girls will have difficulty getting past the 80s but for now they are doing the job as they say and rather well...

1984...the tracks are rhythmic as they should be, the sound and style fit well with their era, in short, the 4 girls didn't miss much to hit the jackpot as they say...

1984...in any case they have nothing to be ashamed of for what they produced, far from it because there was really some interest in all that...
