Jeffrey Osborne is an American singer-songwriter best known for being the leader of the group 'L.T.D.' before actually starting his solo career.
He began his solo career in 1982 with the release of his first self-titled album, an album which enjoyed great success in the United States, notably thanks to the enormous Single “On the Wings of Love”.
But it was especially the year 1983 that allowed him to hit the big time with the release of the album “Stay with me tonight”. Album which will remain as the biggest success of his entire album discography and which will mainly produce the Single of the same name.
Another notable success the following year in 1984 with the release of the album “Don’t stop”, an album whose flagship Single was “The borderlines”.
Two years would pass before the release in 1986 of the album "Emotional", an album which would produce his biggest solo Single with the title "You should be mine (The Woo Woo song)".
But his biggest success on the Singles side he shared it the following year in 1987 with Dionne Warwick on the enormous title “Love power”, a title that they performed as a duet.
A performance that he will never be able to match despite the release of other albums and other singles subsequently...
