Bobby Brown, whose real name is Robert Barisford Brown Sr., is an American singer-songwriter who began his artistic career with the group 'New Edition', a group in which he would remain for almost 6 years. An artist who can boast of having sold no less than 50 million records to date, just that...
After sharing the stage with 4 other members in the group 'New Edition' until the mid-80s, the singer would take his career back in hand from 1986, the year in which he signed with the MCA label. A label that allowed him to release a first album "King of stage" the same year, an album that gave him a first solo success with the title "Girlfriend".
But it was especially the following album "Don't be cruel" that would boost his career in a resounding way two years later in 1988 and bring him fame and fortune. Album that will be a real global hit to the point of selling nearly 12 million copies worldwide and producing no less than 4 global mega hits including "Don't be cruel" and "My prerogative" in 1988 as well as "Every little step" and "Rock wit'cha" in 1989, a real feat.
An exceptional year 1989 in all respects and which will undoubtedly remain as the best vintage of the artist since he will get another mega hit with the title "On our own", title that we find on the soundtrack of the film 'Ghostbusters II'.
We will have to wait 4 years to see the release in 1992 of his new album "Bobby", an album with less success but still a certain success and which will produce two new mega hits with the titles "Humpin' around" and "Good enough".
New album "Forever" five years later in 1997, an album that will not have the success of its predecessors and will be incapable of producing the slightest major hit.
This will not prevent him from continuing the adventure but unfortunately at a much lower level of success.

Tracks :
1986...first title and first success for this young artist who will be noticed as much for his artistic talent as for his excesses and deviations of all kinds...
1987...this title will go a little more unnoticed but the dynamics of success are already well and truly in place. All that's left to do is unroll as they say...
1988...and it's going to unroll, it's going to unroll, that's the least we can say. Starting with this title which will give him his first mega global hit, nothing less...
1988...but that's without counting on THIS title, a title that will remain as his reference title with the biggest success of his entire career and as a bonus a direct ticket to posterity. HU-GE !
1989... an end of decade that sees him at the top of his art with a succession of very big titles. Certainly this one will do less well than its predecessor but still...
1989...a year 1989 which will be almost at the same level as the year 1988, that's to say. When it wants, it wants !
1989...the mega hits follow one after the other at an impressive speed, making the singer one of the phenomena of the moment, without a doubt...
1989...everything he produces at this stage immediately turns into solid gold. A success that he owes to one thing only, that is to say his talent...
1990...when two of the phenomena of the moment decide to sing together, the result can only be up to par and it definitely is !
1991...this one on the other hand will be a little bit lower but without being unworthy, far from it. Everything continues to go as it should in any case...
1992...solo comeback and return of mega hits. Here's another one to add to a list that's starting to number quite a few...
1992...two titles will be released during this year 1992 and both will end up as mega hits, what more could you ask for. The singer is on cloud nine and does not intend to come down at this stage...
1993...a year 1993 which confirms the fact that the singer is still in the lead, which can only reassure us about what will happen next...
1993...certainly the level of success slows down somewhat but nothing to worry about at this stage, that's for sure. Everything is going well on the artist's life side...
1993...unfortunately he will cross paths with Whitney Houston and their relationship, which initially resembles a fairy tale, will quickly become very toxic...
1994...to the point of killing their respective careers. From now on, the 2 artists will spend more time appearing in the miscellaneous facts than at the top of the bill...
1997...two people who should never have met but whose destiny decided otherwise, much to their misfortune...
2002...their respective careers will continue but it is clear that there is a before and after meeting. And the after has little to do with the before...
2006...a huge waste that saw 2 talented artists destroy their careers little by little without anything and no one being able to do anything about it...
2006...a toxic relationship that would end the following year but from which Whitney Houston would never recover with the tragic end that we know...
2009...he will continue the adventure at all costs but it is clear that it will be far, very far from the incredible years he experienced at the end of the 80s, beginning of the 90s...
2010...here he is anyway, starting a new decade with the firm intention of wiping the slate clean of the past...
2011...a past that will unfortunately catch up with him in the years to come with a new tragic episode that he does not even suspect at this stage...
2018...the daughter he had with Whitney Houston will kill herself in 2015 at the age of 22 and end in a way that is at the very least definitive and above all most unbearable this relationship which will have brought only sorrow and misfortune in the end...
