Gino Soccio is a Canadian producer of Italian origin who will stay in the musical history of the 80s mainly for his title "Dancer". Title that will stay as one of the biggest dance hits of 1979 globally.
He would have further minor successes with titles such as "Try it out" in 1981 and "It's alright" in 1982.
As such alone, we owe it to him to devote this article to him.

Tracks :
1977 ... a first title to break in. At this point, it's really hard to imagine the awesome sequel that is on the horizon ...
1978 ... what is certain is that the general trend will be Dance. And top quality Dance. Here is a first example ...
1979 ... then comes THIS title. The title that makes him fit One Shot into the musical legend of the end of the twentieth century. He signed here quite simply one of the biggest dance hits of all time. MAS-TER-FUL !
1980 ... a sequel that contrasts radically with the previous title. The success too will be radically cut...down !
1980 ... return to a style much more suited to the standards of the time. A good job, but not enough to get back to the leading pack ...
1981 ... and we set off again in the wacky. We definitely alternate the best and the completely offbeat. Strange strategy ...
1981 ... return of dazzling inspiration with this title much more suited to the Dancefloor. His 2nd biggest hit. Like what, when he wants !
1981 ... a beautiful dynamic which does not weaken and which now produces songs of a certain quality. Hope it lasts !
1982 ... new mega hit with this once again highly inspired title. The Dancefloor never ceases to be on fire with him !
1982 ... total change of style and tone. We even come to wonder if it's always the same artist behind it all ...
1982 ... anyway, a beautiful year 1982 with several very high caliber titles. A beginning of the decade which positions him as one of the sure values of the moment
1984 ... the middle of the decade will prove to be much more complicated to manage. The quality is still there but the competition is fierce and the 'Soccio' style is starting to be somewhat 'has-been' ...
1984 ... a badly anticipated turn of the decade which resulted in an irreversible decline. And yet, he hangs on !
1985 ... the last hit. A new dazzling return of inspiration that allows him to save the furniture and get out through the front door !
1985 ... the last titles will go completely unnoticed. How to succeed in existing in an ocean of Dance titles fueled by competition that gives no freebies to latecomers ...
1986 ... this time, it's well and truly the end. He will have tried everything but it is clear that the level of his titles no longer allows him to play in the Major League...
1988...a very last Single will come out two years later but without changing the situation in any way. He will have at least tried in any case...
2018...two new titles will appear many years later and it would have been a shame to overlook them, that's for sure...
2018...so here they are, brought back into the spotlight as they should be. There is very little chance that there will be any more after that, so we might as well make the most of it...
