Noé Willer, whose real name is Hubert Sebban, is a French singer who started his artistic career at the age of 16 by setting up a trio with two friends, a trio that would go to the cabarets of Montmartre at the end of the 1960s.

We find him later in a group called Les Galaxies, a group that will perform mainly in dancing parties.

But it is especially by crossing the road of an artistic director from Polygram that things will accelerate. The latter then advised him to launch him solo, something which became reality in 1972 with the release of his first 45 laps “Le monde à l'envers”. Title which will know a nice success of esteem and allow the young Hubert to be noticed in a notorious way.

He then worked for Claude François for which he selected titles from the USA that he tried to adapt in French so that the singer could interpret them. At the same time, he continued his solo career and released a few singles under the name of Donny Willer, titles which will go somewhat unnoticed in France ...

New solo title in 1978, "Attends un peu" this time under the name of Noe willer. Without more success ...

He will have to wait until the beginning of the following decade to finally see his hopes realized with the release in 1982 of the single “En haute fidelité”. A single which this time will not go unnoticed and will offer him his first major success.

New air gap between 1983 and 1985, what comes out meets only a very limited level of success. The singer then turns to the cinema which offers him some supporting roles ...

A strong comeback on the song side in 1985 with the release of the enormous title "Toi femme publique". This time, it's the jackpot and the title propels the singer in a sensational way on the front of the stage. The singer then becomes one of the biggest phenomena of the moment.

Unfortunately, the rest will prove to be more complicated to manage than expected. The titles which will come out thereafter will know nothing about the enormous success met by "Toi femme publique" and the singer will gradually disappear from the radar. A gradual decline that nothing and no one will be able to stop ...

1972 ... very seventies beginnings. Nice beginnings but there is still a long way to go before he can hope to play with the Greats ...

1974 ... it's well tried but this Ultimate Slow will not stay in history as the most famous of all. Must and can do better !

1975 ... under the pseudo of Donny Willer, he delivers here a very classy Intimist title. In addition in the English language and the least we can say, is that there is talent in all this !

1982 ... he disappeared from the radar for several years and we can honestly think that he is lost body and soul. But that's without counting on its ability to resist and especially to adapt ...

1984 ... he was able to adapt perfectly to the 1980s and we can see that the style, like the sound, have evolved in the right direction. We therefore suspect that something big will happen at some point ...

1985 ... then THIS title comes ! Here he is quite simply signing one of the biggest dance hits of the decade on the French side with this very simple title but with formidable efficiency. A title that finally allows him to access the consecration he has been waiting for so long. This time will be the good one. MAS-TER-FUL !

1985 ... the singer took the measure of the changes that had to be made in this decade 80 at the musical level. It worked perfectly on the previous title, a little less on this one ...

1985 ... he tries an incursion into the Intimist field and it is clear that he is far from being ridiculous. But the level of inspiration in this area remains average and he will not manage to produce THE title that is going well ...

1986 ... back to Dance mode. He hangs on and resists but he will never manage to repeat the feat of 'Toi, femme publique'' unfortunately ...

1986 ... yet another title which will unfortunately pass under the radar. There is quality in everything he produces, that's for sure. But the competition is so tough that it really struggles to exist ...
