Poco is an American band formed in 1968 and originally composed of Richie Furay, Jim Messina, Rusty Young, Randy Meisner and George Grantham.
The band released his first album "Pickin' up the pieces" a year later in 1969, an album with modest success but considered today as one of the founding albums of the Country-Rock movement.
It was the following album "Poco" that allowed them to extend their fame, notably thanks to the Single "You better think twice", a Single that would experience significant success throughout the North American continent.
The following albums, "From the inside" in 1971, "A good feelin' to know" in 1972, "Crazy eyes" in 1973, "Seven" and "Cantamos" in 1974, would only experience a limited level of success and would struggle to produce any major hits.
We will have to wait for the album "Head over heels" in 1975 to see them come back a little in the race notably thanks to the Single "Keep on tryin'".
New albums "Rose of Cimarron" in 1976 and "Indian summer" in 1977, two albums once again with more or less limited success...
Which will not be the case for the next one "Legend", album which will finally bring them in 1978 the long-awaited recognition notably thanks to the 2 huge Singles that are "Crazy love" and "Heart of the night". Two Singles which will be released the following year in 1979 and which will remain as their two biggest successes on the Singles side.
A feat that they will never be able to reproduce despite the release of other albums and other Singles afterwards.

1969...the group released his first opus here, a first opus which would already allow them to get people talking about them without however managing to offer them their first success on the Singles charts side...

1975...good questions that they will quickly ask themselves and which will allow them to bounce back spectacularly with this new opus...
1976...a second half of the 70s that looks much more favorable to the group at first glance. As it turns out, all you had to do was believe...
1977...few titles were officially released in these few years but the few that were released in any case were popular with the public and in a significant way...
1979...finally comes the consecration at the very end of the decade. The group will get its first top hit which positions him de facto as one of the leading groups of the moment...
1979...then follows up with this one. A new title that will do almost as well as its predecessor in the Charts and above all offer the group its direct ticket to posterity !
1979...this title will do much less well but does not in any way call into question the dominant position of the group at this stage...
1980...the very beginning of the 80s which saw the group drop in the Charts without it destabilizing them more than that...

1984...a year 1984 that starts off badly with a new title that will go under the radar. Times are really getting harder and harder for the group, it must be said...
1984...same for this one. Even the best will is no longer enough to keep them afloat for the long term and this can only be of great concern...
1984...fortunately this title will allow them to save in extremis a year 1984 which was frankly badly started...
1989... when we no longer really believed in their chances, they will make a resounding return to the forefront of the scene almost 5 years later. As if in music nothing is ever finished !
1989...a beautiful and above all BIG year 1989 with this new major success which reminds the competition that they will still have to be counted on for a few more years !
1990...they begin a 3rd decade of their career here with the firm intention of not giving up as usual, re-energized by the enormous success encountered at the very end of the previous decade...
1990...certainly this year 1990 will really have a hard time equaling the year 1989 but they will not do so badly in the end...
1990...three titles will be released that year and all three titles will be classified. The essential is therefore preserved and the sky remains more or less clear concerning them...
2002...we'll lose sight of them for almost 12 years but here they are again anyway. With them, you have to know that nothing is ever finished...
