Peter Brown is an American singer-songwriter who was lucky enough to have a father who was an electronics engineer, who would make young Peter aware from a very early age of the latest technological developments, particularly those related to the musical world.
A particular awareness that would allow him to immerse himself very early in the world of synthesizers and become one of its pioneers. He is also known as one of the precursors of House Music.
His artistic career really began in 1977 with the release of a first Single "Fantasy love affair", a Single that would unfortunately go somewhat unnoticed...
The following Single "Do you wanna get funky with me" which was released in the wake would have a very different fate. To the point of offering the young artist a first global top hit that was unexpected to say the least, which would project him to the forefront of the international music scene in a way that was nothing short of sensational !
A feat that he repeated with the following Single "Dance with me", a huge Single that would be as strong as its predecessor and make the singer one of the phenomena of the moment.
Two Singles that we would find on the album "A fantasy love affair" which was released the following year in 1978 and which would also be popular with the public.
Several albums would be released thereafter such as "Stargazer" in 1979, "back to the front" in 1984 and "Snap" in 1984 in particular but none would be able to produce new global top hits of a level equivalent to the previous ones.

Tracks :
1977...a first quality title but which will hardly be talked about. Few are those who achieve a first success right away...
1977... on the other hand, the next one, on the contrary, will really make people talk about it. The title will simply be a real global hit and offer the artist his first world-renowned top hit, just that...
1977...but that's without counting on THIS new title. A title that will surpass the previous one in terms of success in the Charts and de facto offer young Peter a direct ticket to posterity. HU- GE !
1978...three titles will be released during the year 1977 but only one will be released during this year 1978. A single-title year but a major success regardless...
1979...in just 3 years, young Peter will have become one of the phenomena of the moment and will have chained together top hits at a speed that is, to say the least, impressive...
1979...not only is he good at dance rhythms but also at the 'emotional' register. What more could you ask for !
1979...the very end of a decade which saw him slow down somewhat in terms of success achieved in the Charts, but nothing to worry about at this stage...
1980...business picks up again at the start of the 80s, but success will now be limited solely to the United States...
1982...after as long as the titles that come out are classified the essential is preserved. On the other hand, the level of productivity, it, will seriously fall...
1983...only one title officially released in 1982 and it will be the same for this year 1983. Surprising because there are others in the pipeline that could also have come out in broad daylight...
1983...like this one for example. It's hard to understand the artist's strategy but sometimes you shouldn't try to understand...
1983...another title that will not be officially released and that it would have been a shame to hide. So here it is brought back into the spotlight as it should be...
1984...a very different year 1984 with the release of 3 titles just that. Starting with this one which proves once again that this artist really has talent...
1984...but of the 3 it is especially this one which will allow him to win a last prestigious star to add to a prize list which now includes a certain number...
1984...this one on the other hand will go a little more unnoticed but will still end up ranked in the Dance Charts. It's still better than nothing...
2015...we thought his career would not go beyond 1984 and it was well on its way. Exceptionally, here he is back almost 30 years later...
2018...and here he is again. Returns that are furtive to say the least, but which allow him to show that he still exists...
