Romeo Void is an American band formed in 1979 in St Francisco and originally composed of Benjamin Bossi, Debora Iyall, Peter Woods, Frank Zincavage and Jay Derrah.
As the group formed on Valentine's Day, their group name would therefore be a reference to the lack of romance that some people experience on that particular day ...
The group begins by touring in the Clubs and is quickly noticed. So they signed with a newly created label called 415 Records, which allowed them to release their first Single "White Sweater" the following year in 1981.
Single which will be a great esteem success, as will the album "It’s a condition" which will be released immediately. Album from which will be extracted their first major success with the title "Myself to myself".
A year later in 1982 released the Single "Never say never", Single which will give them a new success of great caliber. Single from the album "Benefactor" which will be released the same year.
A great adventure which will unfortunately come to an end with the release of a last album "Instincts" two years later in 1984. Album which will mainly produce the Single "A girl in trouble (Is a temporay thing)", Single which will be their last notorious success.
