Major Tom...

Peter Schilling, by his real name Pierre Schilling, is a German singer known for his songs very often oriented around themes relating to Science Fiction.

Little about him except that he will know the planetary consecration in 1983 when the Single "Major Tom (coming home)", flagship Single taken from his album "Error in the system", will be released.

Other albums and other Singles will be released in the years and decades that will follow and even if they will not meet with the same success they will not be devoid of interest, far from it.

1979 ... the first steps. We almost touch the caricature and it is obvious that there is a lot of work for this young singer to access the big leagues ...

1981...after that, you have to leave time to time, as they say. A career is built little by little and we must not confuse speed with haste...

1983 ... the title that will reveal him. One of the biggest hits of the 80s on the German side but also on the international side. This single title was enough to bring him One Shot into the musical legend of the 80s. MAS-TER-FUL !

1983 ... a very Germanic suite, too typical to compete with the previous title which was perfectly calibrated to smash everything internationally ...

1984 ... a title of very good quality but always local color. Too bad the artist did not want to play the card of the International fully, thus depriving himself of a planetary success more than certain ...
