Billy Joel, by his real name William Martin Joel, is an American singer and songwriter who started piano lessons from an early age, unlike his boyfriends who take great pleasure in mistreating him accordingly. He joined the group "The Echoes" at the age of 14. Then play with the "Hassles" in the 60s before forming with the drummer of the group a new group called "Attila". The adventure ends, the artist falls into depression and tries to end his life. He released his first solo album "Cold spring hearbor" in 1971 without much success. And it was two years later, in 1973, that he released the album "Piano man", which sold more than 5,000,000 copies ! The album "Streetlife serenade" was released in 1974 which contained the flagship title "The entertainer". Then it was the turn of the album "Turnstiles" to be released in 1976. But it’s the year 1977 that changed everything with the album “The stranger” which contained the planetary hit “Just the way you are”. And 1978 sees him reach the highest peaks of fame with the album "52nd Street" which contains no 3 planetary hits namely "My life", "Big shot" and especially the now cult "Honesty". The album "Glass houses" was released in 1980 and contained the hit "It’s still rock and roll to me" which would be his first No. 1 on the Billboard Chart. Follows in 1982 the album "Nylon curtain" which contains the no less famous Single "Allentown". 1983 will be the year of a new planetary hit for the artist, namely "Uptown girl", from the album "An innocent man" from which the title "Tell her about it" will also be taken. 1986 will see the release of the album "The bridge", which will mark the end of the meteoric rise of this essential figure of the 70s and 80s who will remain for a long time one of the gifted of his generation.

An adventure that continues all the same thereafter with 2 new huge albums that are "Storm front" in 1989 carried at arm's length by the Single "We didn't start the fire". As well as "Rivers of dream" in 1993 which will know its hour of glory with the Single of the same name.
