Bolland & Bolland is a Dutch duo made up of brothers Rob and Ferdi Bolland.
Duo which will remain mainly in the musical history of this end of the 20th century for the very high caliber Singles "Rock me Amadeus" composed for Falco in 1985 and "In the army now" which will know its hour of glory with the group Status Quo in 1986.
They will produce several albums and several Singles under their own name but none will experience success equivalent to those produced for the others...

Clips :
1972...the beginnings of a duo that will become in a few years one of the most prolific of the 80s. With some big, very big, very very big successes...
1972...in the beginning they will mainly ride for themselves. And immediately we see clearly that these 2 brothers have talent, that's clear...
1972...in a single year they will have proven that they have all the potential necessary to accomplish great things. So we're going to give them time to prove it to us...
1973...certainly the success remains confined mainly to the Dutch sphere for the moment but it doesn't matter, the essential is that there is at least a minimum of recognition...
1973...especially since they are good in all areas. We can not imagine for a single second that at some point the duo won the timpani as they say...
1974...the level of productivity does not weaken year after year and shows that this duo has a truly high level of inspiration. Who would complain...
1975... the duo continues its adventure quietly but surely. He will know its peak during the following decade but what he continues to offer us is far from being uninteresting, it is clear...
1975...the titles follow one another at an impressive speed, to say the least. It's 2 to 3 titles minimum per year since their beginnings and each time 0 waste. A feat to highlight...
1976...with each passing year, the power of the duo grows stronger. It is therefore certain that at some point he will end up producing something great, even very great...
1976... not all their titles will be brilliant successes either, but each time they have at least something to offer on the musical side. It's already that...
1977...surprisingly this year 1977 will only have one title on the clock. Warning to be taken into account or simple drop in speed without consequence, it is the future that will tell us...
1978... business picks up the following year, which clearly shows that this downturn was only temporary. Phew...
1978...a year 1978 which saw them return to the same level of productivity as in previous years. No need to worry about the rest of the events...
1978...one of their main strengths is to stick permanently to the latest musical developments of the moment. Which can only necessarily benefit them...
1979...decidedly, the odd years are not their best years in general. Afterwards, there is no fatality in music, just years with and years without...
1980... here they are at the gates of the new decade, a decade that will bring them glory and fortune. Well-deserved recognition...
1981...and yes, it's not Status Quo that is at the origin of this flagship title of the 80s but rather the Bolland brothers. Who would've believed that...
1986...six years later the same title is taken over by Status Quo which will make it one of the most emblematic titles of this year 1986 and especially of his discography. MAS-TER-FUL !
1982...paradoxically, the brothers will obtain consecration by writing for others and not necessarily with their own titles, at least when they are sung by them...
1983... they will therefore lead two parallel careers during this decade : on the one hand that of full-time singers and on the other that of composers/producers. And it will be the second that will be the most rewarded in the end...
1984...they could have definitively turned the page on their solo career to devote themselves exclusively to writing, but this will not be the case. As long as they can enjoy singing themselves, why not...
1984...the list of their hits grows year after year, decade after decade. And it's going to last like this for a few more years...
1984...a duo that will undoubtedly remain one of the most gifted and prolific of the end of the 20th century. The year 1985 will prove it in a masterful way...
1985...it's not with this title that they will win the jackpot but with a title written for another. They will quite simply be at the origin of Falco's enormous 'Rock me Amadeus' which will be released the same year, just that...
1985...and here is the famous 'Rock me Amadeus'. A title that will relaunch the singer's career in a dazzling way and offer its authors one of the biggest successes of their charts !
1985...another great job once again. But with them we are no longer surprised by anything given the global extent of their discography...
1987...already 15 years at the highest level, a real feat. Two busy decades that have seen them achieve the best and only the best so far...
1989... now it remains to be seen what the next decade has in store for them. Not sure that it is as favorable to them as the 2 previous ones unfortunately...
1991...certainly the adventure will continue but they will no longer produce major titles. On the other hand, we suspected that they were not going to continue on the same level of inspiration for decades and decades...
1991...almost 20 years after their debut, the magical duo is about to seriously ease off. They will continue the adventure thereafter but much further back than before...
