If love is blind...

Tiffany, whose real name is Tiffany Darwish, is an American singer-songwriter who really started her artistic career in 1984 when she was noticed by George Tobin, who discovered her after listening to one of her demos.

The same George Tobin who made her sign two years later in 1986 with the MCA label, a label which will allow the young singer to release a first eponymous album which was released the following year in 1987.

Album from which will be extracted a first single "Danny", first single which will go somewhat unnoticed...

Which is not the case of the following to go unnoticed, far from it ! The title "I think we're alone now" will make a real worldwide hit and project the singer to the front of the stage in a spectacular way. Huge success which will be almost equaled by the following title "Could've been" which will also be released the same year.

An exceptional first album which will produce two other titles of very high caliber with "I saw hil standing there" and "Feelings of forever", two titles which will be released in 1988. Album of all records since it will devote the singer as the youngest singer to have ranked an album at the top of the Charts.

A year 1988 which sees the release of a new album "Hold an old friend's hand", an album which will not equal the enormous success of its predecessor but which will still know in turn the favors of the public. In particular thanks to the single "Radio romance" which will be the main extract.

Unfortunately, things will take a turn for the worse when the singer finds herself in the middle of a conflict of interest regarding her career. Conflict which will oppose Tobin to his mother and his stepfather. In the end, it will be her grandmother who will be appointed legal guardian since the singer is only 17 years old.

Personal problems which will be mixed with professional setbacks since her new album "New inside" which was released in 1990 achieves a poor performance and will only come out of it narrowly thanks to the single which bears the name of the album.

The singer will continue her career, come what may, for years to come, but no album will know the incredible level met by her first opus.

1987...the very first steps. Even if this title will go somewhat unnoticed, the potential of this young singer is obvious. So we are eagerly awaiting the sequel...

1987...and from the second title, it's the planetary jackpot, who would have believed it...! Her revisited version of the Tommy James And The Shondelles title dating from 1967 is a real success and will above all propel her in a masterful way to the forefront of the international music scene. HU-GE !

1987...the art of moving from one extreme to the other tempo. Above all, she shows here that she is good in all registers and becomes de facto one of the big revelations of the moment...

1988...a status of big revelation that she will confirm with this new title. A title where the tempo has been drastically accelerated and which suddenly won't work as well as expected...

1988... an alternation of tempos that is starting to make you dizzy. With as a consequence a rather violent stall in the Charts. Too bad because it all went pretty well...

1988... suddenly she decides to stay in the same register and well takes her because the public will be much more interested in this title than in its predecessor. Like what, it often does not play much...

1988...in the end, a beautiful and BIG year 1988 with a plethora of titles and great results. In just 2 years she will have managed to make a name for herself, a real one, and not just a first name...

1989...while we had every reason to see her continue on her way, the rest will not quite go as planned. With to start, a loosening for the less severe in the Charts...

1989 ... a fall of such magnitude that this title will not even be classified. A reversal of the situation, to say the least unexpected, especially since she continues to offer titles of more than certain quality...

1989...an end of the decade that ended more or less in general indifference. How did we come to this in just one year ? Good question...

1990 ... she still tries to move on to the next decade but nothing works. She will therefore have to ask herself the right questions and quickly on the necessary changes to put in place for a possible rebound...

1990...she will succeed in raising her head somewhat with this title but nothing more. She will have to face the facts, the best years are now behind...

1990... the adventure continues but far, very far from the top of the Charts. And it's going to last like that for a bunch of years, despite an obvious desire to do well...

1991... after, it's up to her to see if it's worth continuing or not. For the moment, she is not discouraged in any case and intends to continue the adventure a little longer...

1993...a mid-1990s that saw her really struggling with a drastic reduction in the number of titles released and a success with absent subscribers. Hard law of the trade...

1994...her last title of the decade. Will we find her later, only she can now answer this question...

2000...she will disappear from the radar for almost 6 years and here she is again in this new decade 2000 in a style that no longer has much to do with what she offered before. Hope this changes things a bit...

2000...unfortunately that won't change much on the Charts side. She will therefore have to get used to this state of affairs, it is clear...

2005...new break of 5 years and here she is again, to say the least, transformed, at least in terms of sound. She tries everything for everything with an ultra Dance title but it will not change anything again. But good try anyway...

2006...she puts it straight back hoping that this title will know a more favorable fate than its predecessor. There will be no miracle again...

2006...she pulls out all the stops in this year 2006 on the Dance titles side and tells herself that at some point it's going to pass. Despite titles of certain quality, none will manage to make people talk about him more than that...

2007...what is incredible with her is that nothing discourages her, quite the contrary. She comes back again and again and advances against winds and tides in an impressive way...

2007...when we no longer believed in it, it was with this title Dance that she was able to temporarily rise to the surface. We suspected that if there was any improvement, it would happen in this area in particular...

2008...an unexpected return to favor and which shows once again that in music, nothing is ever over. Like what, with will, you can overturn mountains...

2009...certainly the success is essentially limited to the Dance charts but that's still it as they say. Now it's up to her to confirm that she can do it over time and repeat the feat in the years to come...

2010...while she was on a very positive creative dynamic, she will have the unfortunate idea of doing luxury covers. Idea that will send her back directly to a very limited or even non-existent level of success...

2010...after having covered Kate Bush dating from 1985, she revisits here the title of Fragma dating from 2000. It starts from a good feeling for the 2 covers but the result will be far from bringing the expected results on the Charts side...

2011...and here she is in a style that contrasts radically with what she offered in previous years. It is clear that the Dance register is the only area that sees her shine...

2016...she had risen to the surface unexpectedly during the 2000s, but she will once again disappear from the radar during the 2010s. What she offers holds up but does not really meet the expectations of younger generations...

2017... it is clear that she now does more some figuration than anything else. Now it remains to be seen what can still motivate her to continue the adventure at all costs...

2018...on the other hand, the quality level remains sufficient to appreciate at its fair value all that she continues to produce. We will therefore be satisfied with it...

2019...and here she is, therefore, quietly ending her 4th decade of career, a career that will have started with a bang but which will have fallen apart over the following years and decades. Hard law of the trade...

2020...in any case, nothing and no one is able to tell her to stop at first sight. She continues to want to push the adventure always and a little further forward. Rightly or wrongly, that's something else...

2021... it's been a long time since we've seen her in boosted mode like this. On the other hand, at some point, you might as well have fun even if it doesn't pay more than that. To be continued then ? With her, it could be...
