Breathe is an English band formed in London in 1984 and originally consisting of David Glasper, Marcus Lillington, Phill Harrison, Michael Delahunty and Ian Spice.
It was the Siren Records label which signed the group in 1985 and allowed them to release a first Single "Don't tell me lies" a year later in 1986. Title which gave them their first success and thus allowed them to go from shadow into light in an accelerated way to say the least.
But it was especially a year later in 1987 that things really took off when they released the Single “Hands to Heaven”, a Single which was a real global hit and literally exploded their notoriety internationally.
Title taken from the album “All that jazz”, an album which was also released in 1987 and which also received a very favorable reception from the public.
A huge feat that they would not be able to reproduce later despite the release of another album and other Singles in the years that followed.

Tracks :
1986...a first title of more than certain quality and which was released in its first version since it was released 3 years later with an even greater level of success than what it experienced the first time...
1986...this one will go much more unnoticed but whatever the main thing is that the group made a name for himself from the first title...
1987...like their very first title this title will be released in several versions, the first of which will be released during this year 1987...
1987...it is clear that this group has the potential to do great things and that they will end up producing THE title that will change everything. Patience, patience...
1987...and the famous title, here it is ! A title full of finesse which will project the group to the front of the international scene in a resounding way to say the least and at the same time offer them a direct ticket to posterity. MA-GIC !
1988...difficult for this title to compete with the title that preceded it as the bar was set so high. From there to going unnoticed...
1988...business picks up again with this title and allows the group to record its 2nd global hit. Certainly less extensive than the previous one but still...
1989...a title which will have its moment of glory mainly in the United States. On the other hand, it's better than nothing at all, as they say...
1990...a transition to the 90s which will be rather successful for them with this new prestigious star to add to a prize list which is beginning to include some...
1990...it is clear that this new - and final opus - will not have the level of success of its predecessor but it is far from unworthy, that much is clear...
1990...there is still quality in all that, it is clear. But we will have to take advantage of it because the group has already reached the end of its adventure...
1990...it's hard to understand why but it's definitely the reality. He will not have been able to capitalize on the enormous success obtained on the previous album as they unfortunately should have...
1990...a shame because we would have liked the adventure to last a little longer. Two small albums and then gone, harsh law of the trade...
1990...several titles from this latest opus will not be released as Singles but it would have been a shame to hide them, that's clear...
1990...we might as well bring as much of it into the light as it should. And what could be better than ending this adventure with finesse, an 'emotional register' which will have brought them luck more than once, that's for sure...
