Give me the good news...

Little info about Crocodile Harris, real name Robbin Graham, apart from the fact that he is a South African singer who will go down mainly in the musical history of the 1980s for the big caliber single "Give me the good news" released in 1982.

As such alone, we had to devote this article to him.

To discover or rediscover.

Discography (among others ...) :

  • Miss Eva goodnight 1974

  • Give me your love 1977

  • Everytime I see you 1981

  • Give me the good news 1982

  • The great seducers 1983

  • The world is an explosion 1984

Clips :

1974 ... successful beginnings with a song with a sound that sticks well with the times. After that, it is clear that there is still a little work to be done before he can hope to break through at the highest level ...

1977 ... a sequel that leaves something to be desired. Folko-country points which de facto marginalize the title and target it to a more than limited audience ...

1982 ... it is the change of decade that will allow him to finally reach the consecration after which he was chasing since his beginnings. Here he delivers what will unquestionably remain as one of the flagship Ultimate Slows of the decade. HU-GE !

1983 ... he will never repeat the feat, but a single title was enough to make history. The essential being thus reached, why worry more than that ...

1984 ... a career that will not remain as one of the most provided, that's clear. But better a small career with a huge title than a long career with a succession of low-caliber titles ...
