Yarbrough And Peoples is an American duo composed of Cavin Yarbrough and Alisa Peoples, a duo that has the particularity of having met in childhood through common piano lessons.
A duo that will release a first album "The two of us" in 1980, an album that will propel them in a resounding way to the forefront of the international music scene, notably thanks to the enormous Single "Don't stop the music". A flagship Single that will be a real global hit and which will remain as the main feat of arms of their entire discography.
They will produce 2 years later a new hit Single with the title "Heartbeats", a Single taken from the album of the same name which will be released the following year in 1983.
New hit album "Be a winner" in 1984, an album that will mainly produce the big Single "Don't waste your time".
A final album "Guilty" will be released in 1986, an album that will allow them to win a final prestigious star with the title "I wouldn't lie".

1980...first title, huge global success and direct ticket to posterity, what more could you ask for ! They deliver here quite simply one of the reference titles of the 80s, nothing less. MAS-TER-FUL !
1980...a title that will not be officially released but is present on the same opus as its predecessor and which it would have been a shame not to bring back to light as it should...
1981...even if these 2 titles will not have quite the same level of inspiration as 'Don't stop the music' they are far from being unworthy all the same...
1982...new global success for the duo who chain them together in a most impressive way. Let's hope it lasts as they say...
1983...this one will only work in the United States but no need to worry about them for now, everything is going according to plan...
