Kids In The Kitchen is an Australian group formed in 1983 in Melbourne by Scott Carne, Bruce Curnow, Greg Dorman, Craig Harnath and Greg Woodhead.
Their first single "Change in mood" was released in 1983 and enjoyed notable success, notably thanks to the group's multiple appearances in the flagship musical show of the moment "Countdown".
A year later in 1984 released the single "Bitter Desire", followed in 1985 by "Something that you said". Both will have a more than honorable run in the Charts.
The first album "Shine" was released soon after and sold over 70,000 copies.
It was with the single "Current stand" which also came out in 1985 that the group experienced one of their biggest hits, especially abroad.
In 1987 the album "Terrain" was released, an album that did not meet with the expected success. Failure which will spell the end of this group which frankly deserved to go further.
To discover or rediscover.
