Curiosity Killed The Cat is an English group that was created in 1984 and composed of Ben Volpeliere-Pierrot, Julian Godfrey, Nick Thorpe and Migi Drummond. Group that first stood out in 1986 when they decided to work with Andy Warhol on the music video for their first Single "Misfit". Single which will only have limited success.
On the other hand, the following Single "Down to earth", it will be much more successful than its predecessor, especially on the Old Continent. And start the group for good. Just like “Ordinary day” which came out a year later in 1987.
Singles from their first album "Keep your distance" which came out in the wake and which in turn was a hit. The notoriety of the group being at its zenith, the latter takes the opportunity to bring out "Misfit", which this time is a real hit. The album will even produce a fifth hit with the track "Free" !
The next album "Getahead" was released two years later in 1989. A less successful album which still produced a top hit with the Single "Name and number". Following the relative success of the album, the band rebranded themselves as Curiosity.
Group reworked in part for the members and found three years later in 1992 with the album "Back to front". A winning and shattering comeback, notably thanks to the Single "Hang on in there baby" which will remain as one of their biggest hits. But that will be their last big hit.

1986 ... a first title to warm up. But we immediately see who we are dealing with and we imagine that the rest will be of quality, obviously !
1986 ... the proof with this first planetary top hit. The breakthrough of the group is meteoric and well deserved considering what they offer
1987 ... the dynamic for success is now in place and the hits will follow one another at top speed. Thanks to this unique musical style which mixes funk influences, jazzy influences and new trends
1987 ... they can also do in the Intimist. A versatility of the most interesting but which unfortunately does not pay because this title will not remain as the best ranked of all
1989 ... after an empty year 1988, they sign here what will surely remain as one of their most emblematic pieces. Good job !
1989 ... another nice track 'With emotions'. But like the previous one, the group is not rewarded for its efforts in this area
1992 ... a small air gap of 3 years and a shattering return to this new decade with this title which will simply remain as the biggest success of their entire discography. MAS-TER-FUL !
1992 ... a BIG year 1992 with a second big caliber title in the wake. But we must take advantage of it because it will not last ...
1993 ... a smooth end of the adventure. On a title once again of significant quality. A really atypical group and which will have really done nothing like the others ...
1993 ... come on, it's not quite over. There is still this last title and the adventure will be definitely completed. A last title which rhymes with success once again, what more could you ask for !
