In 1987 it was the turn of the film 'Over the top' to have the composer's favor thanks to the title "Meet me half way" interpreted once again by Kenny Logins.

Also in 1987 he worked with Falco on the title "Body next to body", a title that the singer would perform with one of the most prominent female stars of the moment, namely Brigitte Nielsen.

We find him in 1988 producing a new anthem this time for the Seoul Olympics, a title called "Hand in hand".

New soundtrack also in 1988 for the film 'Mamba', soundtrack which will unfortunately go somewhat unnoticed, something extremely rare concerning it...

Just like the soundtrack of the film 'Another way' and this despite the presence of the title "Another way" performed by Jennifer Rush and of more than certain quality...

New anthem "Un'estate Italiana" 2 years later this time in 1990 for the Football World Cup which takes place in Italy that year.

After producing a landmark soundtrack for the first part of the 'Neverending Story', he set the stage again for the sequel which was also released in 1990. Unfortunately, this musical sequel did not really experience the same level of success as the one which preceded him...

A counter-performance which will announce a strong slowdown in its productions from this decade 90.

We will have to wait more than 20 years to see him produce a new album, a new album called "Déjà vu" and which will be released in 2015. An album that will allow him to return to the front of the stage in a sensational way to say the least, thanks to participations in particular with the singers Sia, Kylie Minogue and other Britney Spears…

He will do it again in the soundtrack in 2016 on the film 'Tron RUN/r', a soundtrack that will go unnoticed to say the least and which shows that in this area he is no longer really the master in the field that he was before...

But knowing him, we know that he is able to bounce back at any time and it could therefore be that he still has some nice surprises in store for us in the future...

1987...new soundtrack for the film "Over the top" and of course new notorious success, as much for the singer as for the one who composed it...

1987... to sing Falco with one of the most glamorous stars of the moment is not going to stop the fall of the latter. Nice try though...

1988...not only does he produce exceptional soundtracks, but his fame is such that he is asked to produce themes for planetary-level sporting events. After "Reach out" for the Los Angeles Olympic Games in 1984, it is now the Seoul Olympic Games that will benefit from his extraordinary talent...

1988...after an exceptional beginning and middle of the 80s in all respects for the artist, the year 1988 will mark the breaking point between the 'before' and the 'after'...

1988...an 'after' which will turn out to be a little more complicated to manage. The level of inspiration will weaken somewhat and mark the starting point of a slow but irremediable deceleration...

1988... the deceleration will be smooth but the artist will never know the incredible level of success known before. Such is life as they say...

1990...the beginning of the 90s which saw him sign the theme of the Football World Cup which took place that year in Italy. A return to the sources which is not without displeasing to him...

2013...another extraordinary association. All these duos will still be ranked, which shows that there are still certain reasons to continue the adventure...

2014... here he is again in solo with an immediate sanction on the Charts side since this title will almost pass under the radar. Hard law of the trade...

2015...missing a title with Kylie is almost impossible. The duo will work perfectly on this title and offer the 2 artists a success that matches their respective talents...

2015...despite all of Sia's talent, this title only experienced an average level of success. Magic duets don't always work...

2015...this duo with Britney Spears won't do much better. Decidedly, the magic touch of the composer no longer really has an effect...

2015... it's once again Kylie who will save the furniture. She will have already done so at the start of the year and will do it again at the end of the year...

2016...this collaboration with Karen Harding is far from unworthy but will have little resonance with the general public. Times are definitely getting harder and harder for Giorgio...

2016... he thinks that by signing a new soundtrack, the miracle could eventually happen and propel him back to center stage. A waste of time unfortunately...

2018...and here he is again ! He will illustrate this time, musically speaking, a series and not just any series since it is one of the most emblematic series of this end of the decade...

2018...the younger generations who have watched this series will not imagine for a second that the music is signed by one of the greatest composers of the last 40 years...

2018...we can easily imagine that this title will not be the last. It remains to be seen where and when above all he will decide to return to the front of the stage...
