1000 Ohm is a Belgian group formed in the early 80s by Frank Van Bogaert, Koen Van Assche, Johan Van Herck and Erwin Vermeulen. The name of the group would simply refer to the notion of amplifier.
They will remain mainly in the musical history of the 80s for their hit "A.G.N.E.S" which was released in 1981.
The rest of their discography being of relatively good quality, it would have been a shame not to devote this article to them.
To discover or rediscover.

Clips :
1981 ... the title of the revelation and which will remain as their main hit. Typical New-Wave Made in Belgium from the early 80s
1983 ... a well-made sequel that shows the band's significant talent. Of course, there is still work to be done to integrate the big leagues, but let's leave time to time ...
1984 ... songs sometimes ... confusing, to say the least. As very often on the Belgian side during this decade ...
1984 ... which will surely remain as their best title. The work has paid off and we can see the results. Especially we hear it !
1984 ... a particularly prolific year which provided most of their high caliber titles. An excellent vintage as they say !
1985 ... the rise in power has been evident for some time. The titles are structured and above all inspired. Despite this, the group will not be able to capitalize on all this and will disappear prematurely. Frankly shame ...
1988 ... total reversal of the situation where we go from the sometimes the most obscure New-Wave to the total Dance version at the end of 80. Decidedly, the little guys amazing until the end !
